CVS Caremark MinuteClinic®

Meet MinuteClinic®, the pioneer and industry leader of retail-based health care in the United States.

Founded in May 2000, Minneapolis-based MinuteClinic has served more than 700,000 patients with 99% customer satisfaction. MinuteClinic provides high-quality care for the treatment of common ailments, such as strep throat and ear, eye and sinus infections. The result is an accessible health care system that saves patients and employers time and money.

MinuteClinic's clinical staff of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants are board-certified health care providers who diagnose and treat illnesses, prescribe medications (when clinically appropriate) and offer self-care and preventative education to patients. A $10 copay applies to Aetna, Anthem, BCBS RI, Coventry and UnitedHealthcare medical plan participants. Fallon and HMSA medical plan participants are not eligible at this time.
